“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people together to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the sea.”
Antoine de Saint Exupery
When I was a little kid and a teenager I have always dreamed about traveling a lot. Get to know the landscapes, cultures, languages and habits of foreign countries were one of my biggest desires in my whole life. I usually read a lot of books, magazines, articles in this topic and tried to collect more and more information about the places I would like to visit. Furthermore, when I read a new book I regularly gathered photos via internet about those places that I haven’t known yet. It has made it more interesting to read a novel. I felt always inexpressible gratitude when I could cross the border of my home town regardless of how far I traveled. At that moment I’m living far away from my home town and sometimes it seems difficult. Despite all these feelings there are more advantages. One of them is that I can explore more and more magnificent places and I can share with you my experiences.
I have determined to constitute my own weekly challenge which is based on the travel, photo shooting and reading. Every week I’m going to shortly describe a place where I was and share some photos of my first impressions. I’m going to read and learn a lot during these weeks and I also try to advise a good book for you in connection with the topic of the week. It would be great if you also shared your experiences in form of descriptions, photos or books. I look forward to your comments!
